A number of local dignitaries including members of the City Commission were on hand as officials ceremonially broke ground Wednesday on the Stonebridge housing development. “Mr. Anderson and his crew are getting ready to take this unused piece of land and create a vibrant new development for our community–a development that will provide us with retail spaces, medical facilities, restaurants, office spaces as well as housing,” said Ward 5 Commissioner Tammy Wilson.
The development includes features built to retain excess storm water and have a 6 acre lake that will serve as a recreational area for the local residents. Gene Anderson says that “this whole project is [an] upscale and upbeat standard for our area. There’s nothing like it in Enid. We want it to really look nice and really improve the asset quality of the entire area.”
